A little more than 1,000 miles on the tires, chain and sprockets, recently replaced the spark plugs and added the DelKevic exhaust, this bike needs nothing and is ready to ride.
I just replaced all the fluids, the stator and the regulator/rectifier (with a Ricks Electrics MOFSET) so it should never again be a problem. It has 51,700 miles on it and runs great, everything works, no smoke or any issues at all. I recently acquired this bike from the second owner who had it for 25 of the last 27 years. A lovingly cared for example of Honda’s favorite sport / touring bike with Honda’s famous gear driven cams( What a fantastic sounding bike) These bikes have been known to go 200,000 miles or more when properly maintained. A true survivor, a 3 owner VFR 750 A.K.A.
